Doubt ! If we remove 'doubt' can we reduce our suffering ?

Two depressives go into a pub, one says to the other... Don't worry about it !

Re: Doubt ! If we remove 'doubt' can we reduce our suffering

The joke is how do over come doubt... Sins I posted this taking point 21 have looked but no one added. I have looked in meny places for some years, tryed diferant foods, meds and meditation.

For me life is depressing !

Not so much a black dog (as black is not the issue and what did dogs do) but our human condition and the way we live today. As we all now some places are madder than others but offen the maddest place is right under our feet. Every where you go always take the madness with you.

So is it me or we or us all, day by day the madness growers and with it suffering. Help !

Dear DP
I suffer from a lot of self doubt, but I also have hope, which counteracts the doubt in my sunnier times
I agree that situations or social pressures can make us feel terrible, and sometimes it's just the thoughts in our own head that make us feel so bad.
On my rainier days, I try to live minute by hour to get through it, and then doubt is a real problem, but I trust and hope that it will pass and it always does , eventually.
I wish you lots of strength to keep looking for the less mad times and hope that they come to you soon
Hb x

Thank you for that Hb.

By living in the now; life can be approched pragmaticaly however the social groups of modern life engender the belief that mind is individual to us "self"... but mind is common, and shared.

If we lived as healthy social groups, we would promote a healthy mind for all, I feel we do not do this and thus cloudy the once clear waters of our collective mind...

Doubt, Division & Conflict

over

Love, Compassion & Peace

We can do better within our social group, if we have the mind too !

Thank you for standing with me, my love to you, may the sunshine of peace touch your heart every day my friend.
